Tyler County is nestled in the Piney Woods of East Texas about 45 mins North of Beaumont, TX and 90 minutes Northeast from Houston TX. Travelers come across the globe to visit the area when the Dogwood trees are in bloom (usually late March), antique shop, fish, hike, or eat at the world famous Pickett House Restaurant.
Tyler County and surrounding areas have several activities for the whole family. If you want a break from the hustle and bustle of city life, or just need to unwind, we are sure there is a relaxing spot, with a fishing pole lakeside with your name on it.
Need a date night? Stop at Naskila Casino, which is one of only three Casinos in the State of Texas! Located just 15 mins west of Woodville on the Alabama-Coushatta Indian Reservation.
